It was not a fun day today. It was a day full of tantrums and door slaming. Emerson did not want to clean his room, so he made it into a full day of anger. Eventually I started "throwing away" his toys and he immediately started cleaning and even was able to earn his toys back. I hope he doesn't have more days like this.

I can relate. It is fun to mess and a pain to clean.
At least he started cleaning in the end. It is a hard thing to teach.
