Jason got games for his birthday from both of our parents. The came today.  Just in time to play for New Years Eve.

For your birthday, Burgerville adds $5 to your reward card to use in your birthday month.  We love to wait until the end of Jason's birthday month to get the chocolate hazelnut shake.  It is one of the most delicious shakes ever.

Meet our newest friend:  Fuzzy.  Emerson won a gift card to Build A Bear through Intel and he went to make his friend today.  He got his name because he was so fuzzy.  He really wanted Fluffy, but he already has a 'Fluffy" Bot.

All Emerson asked for for Christmas was a sleeping bag and oranges.  Then a couple of days before Christmas he saw the frog pillow pet and asked for that too.  So, of course since it was a reasonable wishlist, he ended up getting it all.  He loves all of his presents!

Every year, I like to add a new ornament to our tree that represents that year.  As I was making the birds for the ornament exchange I am doing, I thought a lot about what my ornament for this year will be.  I was trying to think of what big things represent this year:  Austin and Super Heroes.  At Austin's funeral, we had red birds as a symbol of him and so I thought that it would be appropriate for him to be represented on my tree for the year 2011 as a red bird.  He is sure missed.
