2013: Day 45 - Valentine's Day

Piper just looked adoreable this morning.  I love my newest little Valentine...along with my other two.
Also, we made little Valentine's Cards for our family.  So we did a little photo shoot back on January 16 of the kids.  I didn't want to put them up until after they got their cards.  So here are the cuties!

2013: Day 44 - Hill Sandwich

Emerson made his own lunch today.  When I asked him what it was, he said "It is a hill sandwich".  He ate about the first layer and saved the rest for later.

2013: Day 43 - Our Valentines

Today Emerson went to a Valentine's Party with a bunch of kids from church.  All they did was play, decorate little bags, and exchange valentines.  Emerson was so excited about the ones he gave.  He insisted that he give a bouncy ball with the phrase "You make my heart bounce" attached.  I was really wanting it to stay "You make me bounce with joy" because that is so true, but he was very insistant.  I love that he is getting his own opinions and will make his own decisions.

2013: Day 41 - Trains

Something that I have loved about afternoon church is that the mornings are free from stress to be able to spend time together.  Jason and Emerson built tracks and drove trains around on them for a while this morning.  I love watching them bond together.

2013: Day 40 - Crib

We finally put up Piper's crib today.  Now we need to figure out how to transition her into the room with Emerson.

2013: Day 38 - Piper

Sometimes I just love to watch Piper while she is just laying there.  Those are some of my most treasured moments. Those moments when I really fall in love with this special gift from my Heavenly Father.  She is just the sweetest little girl that anyone could ask for.  I am so grateful for the few quite moments that we get together.  I am so in love with this baby.

2013: Day 37 - "You can POP me"

While he was in timeout today, Emerson found some bubble wrap.  He has such a great imagination.  So when I came to get him he had wrapped himself in it and said "You can pop me mommy."

2013: Day 35 - 4 month check up

Little Piper had her 4 month check up today.  She was awesome at it.  Just cried for a couple seconds after her shots and that was it.  She came out weighing 15 lbs on the dot (70%) and was 25.5 inches long (83%).

2013: Day 34 - Bed Head

Emerson gets the worst bed hair and he won't let me do a thing to tame it.  At least it is thick and heavy, so during the day it kind of tames itself.

2013: Day 33 - Bunting

Last night I went to a little girls craft night and made this really cute paper valentine's banner.  I love how it turned out.
Also, just a fun note:  It was a year ago today tbat we found out that our little Piper was going to join our family.  One of the best days of my life!

2013: Day 31 - Lifting Head

Piper is starting to get so strong.  Yesterday and this morning, she has started to lift her head and shoulders up while laying down. It is amazing to me how fast a baby grows and develops skills like this.

Also I am in love with all the red in her hair.

2013: Day 29 - Trumpet Practice

Piper sat with Jason while he practiced for his concert tonight.  She just loved watching the trumpet.

2013: Day 28 - "Standing Piper"

Jason loves having Piper do things that she is way to young for.  She grabbed onto the laundry basket, so Jason let go of her.  She did a great job standing and then would start to fall over and he would catch her.  It is fun watching them play together.

2013: Day 26 - Hanging out

This morning the boys went to a Primary activity for breakfast, so Piper and I got sometime to hang out together without big brother jumping on her.  I love getting this one on one time with her.  I love playing with her just us two.

2013: Day 25 - Christmas Tree

Here we are one month away from Christmas and we still have Christmas up.  I have the hardest time taking it down.  I am not ashamed.

I also love these two so much.

2013: Day 24 - Baldspot

Piper has a huge bald spot on the back of her head.  It drives me crazy because she is constantly rubbing her head against her bed and makes it bigger.  It is super cute too though.

2013: Day 19 - Vacuum

We finally bit the bullet and bought a new vacuum!  We can finally have clean floors again.  (Please excuse the half lit tree in the background.)
