Today we had to got the the airport to get my tickets for when Emerson and I go out to Atlanta in a couple weeks. So since we were headed out that way, we decided to go walk around IKEA. I love it there. I have so many ideas by time we are ready to go home.
We ate there for the first time this time. I had the Chocolate Overload Cake. It was SO GOOD! I have thought about it ever since. I just need that recipe.

Hi, Im going to Ikea this Saturday. I have never ate there before but now I'm thinking I've been missing out on something! I will have to check out the cake. I googled the recipe and this is what I found. Not sure if it's the same thing....
CHOCOLATE OVERLOAD CAKE
Cookie Crust-homemade oreo crust (Recipe below); make this first
2 boxes Chocolate Pudding (Get Dark Chocolate)
Container of Cool Whip
Chocolate Cake (I use Duncan Hines Devils Food Mix)
Prepare the cake, bake and let cool for 20 min before making the pudding.
After the cake is cooled cut in half, cut horizontally, and set aside.
NOTE: So it is easier to cut evenly, I use toothpicks inserted into the sides of the cake to help guide the knife as I am cutting.
Prepare the pudding according to the box, but then add the cool whip. Make sure you fold this into the pudding!
Spread about 1/3 of the pudding on top of the pie crust and cover it with the cake. Keep layering until you are out of cake and pudding or room!
Chill and Serve!!!
