Day 90: Good Looking Kid

Emerson loves looking at himself. I think that he knows that he is cute and had to look at himself. I always know when Emerson has been looking at himself because of all the messy handprints all over the bottom of the mirror.

Day 89: Two Teeth

You still only have your two teeth. I think that they are so cute. I can't believe that you have gone this long with only the two teeth. But I love it.

Day 88: Big Kid Table

We went to dinner to one of our good friend's house tonight. There daughter got this cute table for her birthday. Emerson kept on trying to sit on the chair, so we put his chair up to the table. He loved sitting with all of his friends at the table.

Day 87: Ice Cream Cone

We LOVE Sweet Tomatoes. It is one of our favorite places to go eat. This time when we went, we decided that Emerson would love an ice cream cone, so we got him one. He did love it!

Day 86: Get Daddy from Work

Emerson and I decided to go on a walk to pick Daddy up from the Max (the light rail that he takes to and from work). We didn't make it very far because as soon as we got the the end of our road, Jason turned the corner. Emerson was so excited to see him.

Day 85: New Bag

I have been searching for a cute bag that is a reasonable cost. My visiting teacher told me a while ago that she had bought her's at Kohl's, so I decided to go over there and look. I found a purse that I loved and bought it. It turned out being the same one that my visiting teacher had in a different color. Now it is like the ward purse; every where you turn someone else has it in a different color. It is the best purse. I love it!

Day 84: Wicked

Today, I spend all day in downtown Portland trying to get Lottery tickets for Wicked. I didn't end up winning the lottery, but they did offer a great price for all the people that were waiting for the lottery. So, I decided to go ahead and buy the tickets. It was worth spending all day to get the tickets. Jason and I LOVED the performance.

Day 83: Napping

Ever since Emerson figured out how to fall asleep easily on his own, he has quit falling asleep with me. It has made me so sad. I love cuddling with my sweet baby. Today, he wanted to be held while I was on the computer. So, I was holding him and he fell asleep! I loved it. I just sat there cuddling with my baby his whole nap. Everything else could wait...I was finally able to hold my sleeping baby again!

Day 82: Spring Time

I have two far obvious favorite times of the year. One is during the springtime when the buds on the trees open and they are all a beautiful pink. The other one is in the fall time when all the leaves turn colors and everything has a deep rich color.

Today some of the trees out side of my house started opening. I love it. I just can't wait until the trees everywhere are in full bloom.

Day 81: New Dishes

Yesterday, we finally found a dish set that Jason and I both loved. So, we have finally bought out dishes. We had the missionaries and some friends over for dinner tonight, so I decided to set the table all nice with our new dishes. I really think that they are great.

Day 80: IKEA

Today we had to got the the airport to get my tickets for when Emerson and I go out to Atlanta in a couple weeks. So since we were headed out that way, we decided to go walk around IKEA. I love it there. I have so many ideas by time we are ready to go home.

We ate there for the first time this time. I had the Chocolate Overload Cake. It was SO GOOD! I have thought about it ever since. I just need that recipe.

Day 79: Bath Pals

Meet the Octopi.

These are two of Emerson's best bath time pals. He loves to throw them on the floor. He loved to squeeze them and make water come out of them. He just loved to play with them.

Day 78: Brushing Teeth

Emerson loves brushing his teeth. Hates when we brush them, but loves when he brushes them. Really he just loves chewing on the bristols and eat the paste. It is really cute when brushes his own teeth.

Day 77: Enrichment

I am the Enrichment Group Leader in my ward. I love it. It let me plan and put of the big quarterly enrichment nights. Tonight we had the Relief Society Birthday Dinnner. It turned out great. Our main goal of the night was to get to know each other better. So, we made people sit with people they don't normally sit with. We played "I have...". That was a lot of fun. We got to know some interesting facts about some of the women in our ward.

I love when nights that I plan turn out just right.

Day 76: Front Facing

Tdoay we went in for a weight check and got the go ahead to turn Emerson's carseat around. He loves going forward. I love being able to see his cute face everytime I look back too.

Day 75: Crossed Ankles

We had a lot of errands to run today in preparation for the Relief Society Birthday dinner on Wednesday. So Emerson was in the stroller most of the day. When he sits in his strooler, or high chair he crosses his little ankles. It is so cute. I love it!

Day 74: Balloon

Yesterday, when we went shoe shopping, the people at Nordstrom's gave Emerson a balloon. He LOVED it. He walked around the mall shaking it because he was so so excited that he had it. He was definately a hit because of that balloon.

First thing this morning, we took Emerson down to play with his toys while we made breakfast. He skipped over all of his toys and went straight for the balloon. He held it all the way until it was time for breakfast. Then we had to get ready for church. By time we got home from church though, it died. He was so sad to not have his fun toy anymore.

Day 73: Birthday Party

Today we went to our friend Kate's 3rd birthday. Emerson loved playing with the balloons. He also really liked to eat all the yummy food.

After the birthday party, we went shoe shopping and ordered a new pair for Emerson. They won't fit him for a while, but they are really cute.

Day 72: Bath Boy

I love Emerson when he is wet. He is just so cute!

Day 71: Fabric

Today I got a bunch of fabrics and patterns that I ordered from Natalie. I love fabric. It is so fun to see the different patterns that people come up with.

The three orange fabrics will hopefully one day soon become my throw pillows for my front room.

Day 70: On a walk

It was such a nice day today that Emerson and I went out for a walk around out neighborhood. He loves being outside. I think that he is such a little stud.

Day 69: Just Him

I just think that this is so sweet.

Day 68: In the Mouth

This is a common scene in our home. Emerson loves putting his toys in his mouth, especially these balls. He will walk around with them all day if I would let him. I love to see people's reactions when they see it in his mouth. It is usually really funny.

Day 67: Pacifer-less

Yesterday, while I was at the convention, Jason decided to try to not give Emerson his pacifer. He did great all day. So, we decided that it is time to just get rid of it before he got to attached. So, last night was his first night without a pacifer. It wasn't to bad. It was just some sadness before he got to sleep. Once he was asleep, he was just fine.

I am going to be sad to have it gone...for the ease of calming Emerson down. But, I am going to LOVE not having to do it later when he is attached to it.

Day 66: CKC Portland

Today I went to the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooking Convention. I decided that I would volunter at it this year to get to know what it is all about, then next year, I will take classes and such. So, I spent the first hour working in the bookstore. Then I got moved to hand out the Door Prizes. I had a lot of fun. I stayed a while after my shift and walked around in awe of all the different scrapbooking items there are...and how much you can spend of it all so quickly. I hope that next year, I can take some classes and get more of the CKC experience.

Day 65: Like Daddy; Like Son

I was out shopping the other day and was looking at shirts for Jason when I saw this pink shirt that looked a lot like the one that I bought Emerson for Valentines Day. I just had to get it. I think that they look so cute in their matching shirts.

I love these two.

Day 64: Play Date

Today Emerson had a few friends over for lunch and to play. He had a lot of fun. They made a mess of my house, but I didn't mind because it was a nice change to our usual day.

Day 63: LaLaLa

Not to long ago Emerson would clap his hands every time we clapped and "lalala" his tongue (while moving his tongue from one side of his lips to the other) every time that we did. Now it has become a more sporadic occurrence. SO, every time that he does it, I love it.

Day 62: Magazine Subscription

I got my first Creating Keepsakes magazine today. For the longest time, I have been wanting to get a subscription to Creating Keepsakes. It has been on my birthday wish list the past few years. Then a few weeks ago, I got a offer in the mail for $1/magazine and I decided that I couldn't pass it up. So, for the next 2 years I am going to be a subscriber to my favorite magazine!

Day 61: Outside

It was a really nice day out today. So, we couldn't stay inside. I just took Emerson out to the mail box with me. He loved it. He just loved walking around and being free. He wanted to get into the dirt so bad. It was so cute when he held my hand across the street. I just felt like he's getting so old.

Day 60: Haircut

Yesterday, my friend Stephanie cut my hair and touched up my highlights. I really love how my hair is right now. It is easy to do and still looks really cute.
