Day 204: Children's Museum

I took Emerson to the Portland Children's Museum today. He loved being able to play and not get in trouble for anything that he touched. We will definately be going back again and again.

Day 203: Superman

Emerson is my personal little superman. When ever I have a feeling down day, he somehow lifts my spirits. I just love when he plays, especially with his daddy. It just makes there be a lot of joy in our home. He is the best!

Day 202: Errands

We spent all morning running errands. Emerson didn't really ejoy it, so he decided to just zonk out. It was so cute.

(Side note: When I was taking this picture, we were in the parking spot right next to my car. I was puttung things into the car and then taking the picture. There was spot on the other side of my car and then across from my car there were a bunch of spots. This lady decided that she wanted to park in the spot that I was doing things in. She just sat inching her way into the spot until I was moved out of the way. When she got out of the car she started talking loudly to the other person she was with saying that people should leave the parking spots to parking. I was SO MAD!!!! I just wanted to go up and punch her because her little ordeal she did made Emerson wake up, mad it so I didn't really have any space to put Emerson in the car, and I just think that was just so rude. I don't understand why she just couldn't take any of the other 6 spots around. Why did it have to be that one? I can't stand rude people like that!)

Day 201: Planning

I spent the day at my friend's house planning for our other friend's baby shower. I hope that it turns out to be as fun as we think it will be.

Day 200: Arkham

Jason and I love playing games. It is one of the main things that we do, but we don't like losing to each other. So, we love playing cooperative games where it is you vs. the game. It makes if fun to play together and not be rivals. We spent the evening fighting monsters and ended up losing, but it was still a fun night.

Day 199: "T at"

Emerson is a pointer. He loves to walk around and point at random this and say "that". It is so stinking cute. He just needs to watch were he is going when he does this. (He was about to walk right into a pool fountain.)

Day 198: Work Picnic

We went back to Rood Bridge Park today to go to Jason's work party. It turned out to be a lot of fun with yummy food and entertaining games. Intel know how to throw good parties...even in the sweltering heat.

Day 197: Cutting Cutting Cutting

I spent the day cutting fabric today for a quilt that I bought the fabric for two Christmases ago. I decided that it was about time to get working on it. My goal is to have it done by time I need a permanent blanket on my bed again. We will see if that happens...it might be by time I need a permanent blanket next year.

Day 196: Shirtless

Emerson loves not wearing clothes. I think that if he had his choice he will always be naked...as opposed to the layers upon layers that I make him wear. So right after his bath, I let him run around in his diaper until we have to leave some where. He loves it! Now I am starting to worry because he is figuring out how his shirt works. He can already get on arm off and he is starting to try to pull it over his head. Just a matter of time.

Day 195: Going Dark

I decided that it was time to go dark. I think that it turned out pretty cute. I really like the change.

Day 194: Kisses

Last week Emerson started giving kisses. I love his sweet kisses; they are the BEST!!!

Day 193: Getting On Bed

Emerson can officially get onto the bed alone will no help. I can't believe that he can already do that. He is still having trouble getting off though.

Day 192: Lounging

Grandma, Grandpa and Olivia went to Powell's Books today, so we just stayed home and relaxed. It was nice to have a lounging around day.

Day 191: Blocks

This week Emerson has started to LOVE blocks. He loves to build it up a little and then knock them all down. I just love how he is growing.

Day 190: Zoo

We went to the zoo today with Gandma and Grandpa Bush and Auntie Olivia. Emerson had a blast running around and looking at all the animals.

Day 189: Baby Shower

I got to help throw a baby shower for my friend, Desiree, today. It was really fun with yummy food and good friends.

Day 188: Depoe Bay

Olivia, Emerson, and I walked into Depoe Bay today and went to the different shops. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of running after Emerson.

Day 187: On the Balcony

We just spent the day being lazy in the condo, watching the waves. Emerson loved going out on the balcony and looking out, just like Grandpa.

Day 186: Ocean

We went to the Ocean today with my parents and stayed in a REALLY NICE condo. We also stopped in Tillamook and bought some cheese and ice cream...yum.

Day 185: Independence Day

We had a great day. Emerson got to play with fireworks (he especially loved throwing the snaps). And my parents and Olivia came in town for the week.

Day 184: Clean House

My house if CLEAN!!!! I love having a clean straightened house. Now once naptime ends, it will be a mess, but for a couple hours, I can enjoy it!

Day 183: Cuddly

I had a long full day of cleaning planned, but Emerson had other plans today. All he wanted to do is be held and cuddled with. We took two naps together and had lots of holding time. I think that it is because he is teething that he is so cuddly, but I love it.

Day 182: Sitting at the Table

With the new climbing obsession comes some cute moments. Emerson climbed up on the chair and just sat there with his cute chin on the table. It was really sweet, almost makes me want to let him climb on everything...almost.
