We have officially switched to underpants while at home.  I wouldn't say that Emerson is potty trained yet, but he is at least frequently going on the potty!

My mom got me a new camera case for my birthday.  I am in LOVE with it; it is perfect.

We went to play in the fountains this morning.  It was almost too unbearable to be outside this morning.

We drove home from Idaho today.  On our way home, we stopped at the fish hatchery.  Emerson got to feed the fish.  He thought that was hilarious watching the fish fight to get the food.

Meet Blake the Blue Snake.  Emerson adopted him a few days ago when we went to Tautphaus Zoo.  He chose the blue snake because blue has become his favorite color.  Blake has been a great addition to our little family.

As per tradition, we had to have Dutch Oven before people started to leave in the morning.  So Bruce busted out the ovens and made the most delicious fajitas I think I have ever had and some equally delicious Turtle cake.

Since most of the family was together we took advantage to get a family picture. We just set the camera up on the tripod and wished that it would turn out. The kids would only cooperate for two takes, so that made me nervous. But I think that we ended up with a beautiful picture.

On Friday, in our Idaho Trip, we all headed up to Yellowstone. We had a great time. We packed our day seeing sights and we still hardly touched the park.

On the first full day of our reunion, we took a little trip to Idaho Fall's Tautphaus Zoo. It is a pretty small zoo, but it had a lot of really fun animals in it.

While waiting for all the family to come, Emerson was getting really restless, so we decided that it would be fun to go out and play in the sprinklers. We had so much fun going on. The sprinklers were on and Jason was blowing bubbles to chase after. Then Grandma Sue brought out the frisbees. That just turned in to a world of fun. We got in a water fight playing "water plate" (Emerson's term for throwing frisbees full of water at each other). It was a fun way to use up some time while waiting for cousins.

I didn't actually get a picture today because I spent 5 hours at the beauty school getting my hair done.  I had friend do it last week, but I couldn't ever get used to it, so I went and got it more blonde.  I love how it turned out.   It just took FOREVER to do.  I wish that my hair wouldn't grow because this is how I love it, and I don't want to have to maintain it.
