2011: Day 90 of 365

Emerson started a soccer class at the Rec Center today.  I think that he is going to love it.  This may be the beginnings of a soccer mom.

My friend and her two kids came over to play for a little while today.  While they were here, her son taught Emerson how to jump from a far away place onto something.  Emerson now loves jumping from the chair to the couch.

2011: Day 87 of 365

Morning cartoons are a must in our house.  Emerson chooses between: Dinosaur Train, Cat in the Hat, Super Why and Word World.  He always wants to watch them all because he had just as hard of a time making decisions as his mom and dad do.

We were all tired today.  It is always enjoyable having a lazy afternoon.

I love that Emerson is starting to enjoy playing by himself. It makes my day a lot more productive.

We have been blessed in our house to rarely get sick.  Emerson has only thrown up once in his life (because he ate almost an entire cake) until last night.  The poor kid was up half the night thowing up.  Or as he would put it as he finished, "My tummy went back down".  I loved all the snuggles I got with it, but it was really sad seeing my baby with his head in the toilet so miserable.  It literally made me cry.

2011: Day 83 of 365

Even though it was a little chilly today, we still went on a little bike ride.  Emerson's feet are finally reaching the pedals, so he can really learn how to ride the bike and not just push the ground with his feet.

2011: Day 82 of 365

Today at our monthly craft group, I made this sign for our front door.  I bought the materials a couple of years ago, but didn't get around to making it untiil now.  I love it.  I just need to get a picture of Emerson's little bare feet to put in it.  Maybe you will be seeing that for the picture of the day soon.

For playgroup this week, we went to Out of This World Pizza.  They have some inflatables to jump on and a big huge play jungle.  It was great to get some energy out.

Natalie sent me some fabric to make her some baby stuff for her little boy coming soon.  I am excited to make some baby things for my new little nephew.

2011: Day 79 of 365

We got Emerson a marble run a while back, but pulled it out for the first time today.  Emerson played with it for a good five hours today.  He was fasicnated watching the marbles got through the run over and over.  It is amazing how he was able to stay interested in it for so long.

2011: Day 78 of 365

A couple of years ago, my wedding ring was lost/stolen.  A two Saturdays ago, my ring got down to the price that we said we would buy it at again.  So we went and bought it!  It had to be resized, so I didn't get it until today.  I love having my ring again!  (Well at least half of it.)

2011: Day 77 of 365

Emerson got this cape from Aunt Natalie for his first Christmas.  It has been in his room since then and I would ask him if he would want to wear it.  The answer was always "no".  Yesterday at play group his friend has a cape.  So when we got home he asked to wear his.  He has not willingly taken it off since.

We had the RS Birthday Dinner tonight.  It turned out being a great evening.  We had dinner, did some speed dating, and then had a musical number and speaker.  This was the centerpiece on each table.  I really like how ir turned out.

I bought flowers for myself (and for the Relief Society birthday dinner) today.  I found a flower that I think is probably my new favorite flower called dragon snaps.  I think that they are beautiful.

Today was Emerson's last day of his Tumble Tots class.

Most days the only way I get Emerson to take a picture is when he wants something.  I can then bribe him.  Today he let me take a picture for playing with my ipod touch, but instead of smiling he kept on saying "Ipod touch", so I am lucky that when he was saying "touch" it resembled some sort of a smile.

Its been raining like crazy here.  We had fun playing in puddles this afternoon.

We took Emerson bowling for the first time tonight.  He loved it.  He cheered us on the whole time.   He was adoreable carrying around his six pound ball.

Emerson has become a true Oregonian.  When the sun is out, he can't handle it.  He always covers his eyes and says that he can't see.

I made this nursing cover for a baby shower this week.  I love my addition of the ruffle to it.  It makes it so girly.

In Emerson's class, he always gets a stamp.  He loves his stamp.  He is so proud of it and constantly talks about it.

I made this blanket back in January for my friend that adopted a sweet little girl.  I didn't ever get a chance to take a picture of the finished product because I didn't finish it until late the night before the shower.  So I borrowed it to take pictures.  I LOVE this blanket.  I would say it is my favorite blanket I have made to date.

After church, Emerson was asking to "drive" so we let him sit in the driver's seat.  He loved it.

This is pretty much all Emerson wants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  He loves his candy.

These are some of our favorite toys.  You shake them and they rev up and then when you put them down the go.  We love that the even go on carpet.  It is a plus that they are Cars cars.

I love Amy Butler books.  I got this one full of fun bags and wallets.
