Day 181: Big Pillows

I made the pillows for in front of the fire place today. I love them! Hopefully it will keep Emerson more interested in playing with them instead of the fireplace.

Day 180: Hanging Clothes

I spent the day organizing Emerson's room. Clothes to small: put away. Fitting clothes: hanging...finally!

Day 179: New Pictures

I put new pictures into our frames today. I just love all these pictures.

Day 178: Soap

I have recently been introduced to the Bath and Body Works' soap and I LOVE it. We went to the mall and saw that they had it on a great sale, so we bought one for each bathroom. Now, I am thinking that we should have bought more.

Day 177: Throw Pillows

Today I was busy making throw pillows for our couches. I've had the pillow forms for months and the fabric for about half a year, so I thought that it was just about time to just have them done. I love how they turned out.

Day 176: Organizing

The past couple of weeks I have been BUSY organizing my craft/sewing room. It is finally in a workable order! I love it; all the hard work was worth it!

Day 175: Rood Bridge Park

We went to Rood Bridge Park twice today...once for playgroup and then once for Cub Scouts. Emerson loved playing in the stream there.

(The outfits were given to Jason for Father's Day. I think that it is super cute.)

Day 174: Fertility Meds

I went and got my first rounds of fertility medications (Provera and Clomid) filled today. I will hopefully be starting soon to try to get pregnant again. Here's to hoping that it will work as well as it did with Emerson.

Day 173: "Wee"

Emerson's newest sound is "wee". He loves to make it when he plays with his little people on the swing or slide. It is too funny! I love it.

Day 172: Father's Day

Happy Father's Day, Jason. We love you!

Day 171: Zoo

We took Emerson to the zoo today. He LOVED it. He is becoming obsessed with animals...I just hope that he never wants a pet, so I don't have to be the bad mom and say "NO WAY!!!!" Hopefully the zoo is a good enough outlet to see animals.

Day 170: Self Fed

I finally gave in today and let Emerson feed him self. He loved it. Needless to say, he had to take a bath right after.

Day 169: Sweet Guys

I love watching Emerson and Jason interact. I love the relationship they have.

Day 168: Feet

While eating, Emerson now days always has his feet up on the high chair tray. He likes to then kick his feet off. It is silly.

Day 167: Legs

Emerson has been able to get off the bed on his own for months. All of the sudden today, he has been getting "stuck" half off the bed. He just sits there until he either falls off or we come and help him off. I don't understand the change of behavior all of the sudden.

Day 166: Bagwill's

Today I took another friend's (Stephanie's) kids pictures. Talk about sweet girls.

Day 165: Outlets

While at the beach, we had to get in some much needed outlet shopping. I only got Emerson things, but at awesome deals!

Day 164: Girls' Weekend

I went with my friends to Newport this weekend. It was a nice no kids, girls only time. I need that every once in a while.

Day 163: Laughs

I just love laughing. It just makes a day better. With Emerson, it is constant laughs. I love it.

Day 162: Dare Devil

Emerson is becoming a little dare devil. He decided that he doesn't need to hold onto things when he is up higher then the floor anymore. It makes me scared.

Day 161: Playing at the Park

We decided to go to play group today, but now one showed up (my guess because of the rain). So, Emerson had the whole park to himself. He loved swinging and sliding. It is so fun that he plays now.

Day 160: Get on Bed Alone

Emerson has been climbing a little lately. He could get onto our ottoman in our bedroom and that is about it. Today however, he figured out to get onto our bed alone. He pushed the ottoman next to our bed, got up onto it, then was able to get up onto the bed. It is not good the doors this new talent can open.

Day 159: Worsley's Pictures

I got to take some pictures today for my friend, Micah. She has such adorable kids. It was fun taking her kids pictures. Now I just need to learn how to do group photos better.

Day 158: Monsters

We love monsters in our house. They are pretty much our favorite stuffed animal. The green and yellow big monsters are our newest additions this week. They are just so fun.

Day 157: On Four Wheels

We went to our friend's for a BBQ today. They had a couple kid 4 wheelers. Emerson loved being on them. It was so cute.

Day 156: Napping

I just love Emerson when he takes his naps. He is just so precious!

Day 155: Diapers

Before I had Emerson, I found a great deal on diapers, so I stocked up and never had to buy any diapers for him. Today I found another great sale, so I stocked up again for our next kid (so we are ready whenever that will be).

Day 154: Pick up Daddy

The past two days Jason spent a lot of time flying back and forth to California. Tonight was the last trip he had to make, so I decided to take Emerson to pick him up. It is a little airport, so we were able to go right up to the window and watch the plane come in. Emerson loved seeing the plane. The moment he saw it he pointed to it and said "oooooo" in an high pitch. It was so cute. After daddy got out, they let him go outside to see the plane a little closer. He loved it!

Day 153: Sprinklers

It was a really hot day today, so we went to our friend's house and Emerson ran through the sprinklers. He loved it. And I love watching him.

Day 152: Painting

We got our house painted today! When we first moved in they painted it this really ugly brown color. We were so mad about it because in the pictures online they had it a really pretty gray color. So, we were estatic when we saw the new color of the house! We love it.

Day 151: Feet

Jason and I was playing around with Emerson today and I started to tickle his feet. Then I realized how big his feet have gotten. I can't believe how big he has gotten in such a short time.

Day 150: Favorite seat

Emerson's favorite place to sit is in our desk. He loves to go into it and close the door behind him and just sit in the dark. I think that it is super funny when he does it.

Day 149: Home again

We got to have a final delicious breakfast before we departed the ship today. Then we headed straight home to see Emerson. It was a great cruise--very relaxing!

Day 148: Butchard Gardens

We went to Victoria, Canada (out final port) today. Ever since not making it here on our honeymoon, I have been wanting to go. It was absolutely gorgeous. We went to the Butterfly Gardens and to the Butchard Gardens. Talk about an amazing garden.

Day 147: At Sea

We had a very relaxing day today at Sea.

Day 146: Tracy Arm Fjord

We cruise the Tracy Arm Fjord today. From morning to early afternoon, we just stood up on the deck and gazed at the amazing views. What an awesome opportunity we got to see such an amazing scene.

Day 145: Train in Skagway

We went to our second port today, Skagway. What a beautiful town. We decided last minute to go on the train ride up the White Pass. I am so glad that we did. It was absolutely amazing beauty. My favrite part was when we passed into Canada and turned our train around. It was just so beautiful up there.

Day 144: Juneau

I made it to Alaska today! We first stopped in Juneau. It was a cute little city. I loved all the beautiful mountainous scenery.

Day 143: Formal Night

Today we spent the day at sea. It was fun not being able to see anything in any direction except water. We had our first formal night in the dining room. I really loved dressing up all cute to go eat.

Day 142: Ship

Today is the first day of our long awaited Alaskan cruise! The ship we are on is the Rhapsody of the Seas. It is huge! I know that it is a fun vacation in store for us!

Day 141: Packing

I spent the whole day packing for the cruise. It is a good thing that Emerson can entertain himself for long periods of time...even though it is not always things that I want him to be doing.

Day 140: Watch

I have been watchless for a few months now, and it drives me crazy to not have a watch. I have been watch shopping for pretty much the whole time that I haven't had a watch, but again I had something very specific in mind. I was looking at the watches at JcPenney and stumbled across the perfect watch! I love it. And it was on sale!!!

Day 139: Pictures

We went and got Emerson's pictures taken today. I think that it turned out pretty cute. It was really stressful because after the first picture Emerson never looked at the camera or smiled. At least he did for one picture.

Day 138: Fountains

Today we spent most of the day over at Magnolia Park. Emerson liked the fountains, but the majority of the time he was wanting to go play on the playground. It is a really bad combination having fountains and a playground with bark. They weren't thinking when they designed that.

Day 137: BBQ Swing

We went to out friend's house for a BBQ today. The hit (besides the food) was the swing. It was pretty much constantly going.

Day 136: Cars

Cars. That is the favorite in our house currently. Everything has to go vroom. It is so fun.

Day 135: Grass phobia

Emerson has a fear of walking on grass. Whenever we get to the edge of grass, he wither just stands there until we pick him up, or he will crawl. Walking is just out of the question.

Day 134: Milk and Water Concoction

Emerson loves to drink his milk at the same time as his water. It is really a common scene seeing him with both his milk and his water at the same time. I think that it is pretty funny.

Day 133: Eyes

Pretty much with out fail if someone comments on how cute Emerson is, they say something about his big beautiful eyes. (Today alone we had 7 people comment about his eyes.)

Day 132: Shoes

I have never been a big shoe person. However, when I got my luggage stole, I had to go shoe shopping to replace my shoes that I have had forever. I actually had some fun shopping for shoes this time, and I think that I chose out some really cute shoes.
